3D Studio Max 2010 Issues
(In no particular order - when adding, please keep factual and as brief as possible)
Bugs
1. C.A.T. is too unstable to use.
2. DirectX shaders don't remember light sources.
3. Polygon count in viewport statistics is wrong. To reproduce - drop down a box & check statistics - it reads 12 polgons instead of 6.
Performance
1. Performance has dropped considerably in 2009/2010.
2. Mental Ray hogging CPU issue introduced in max 2009 has still not been fixed.
Enhancement Requests
1. Please expose reloading of the RAYHOSTS file to maxscript.
2. External references using container references are too complicated. Please simply.
